  7. Prepare 2-3 Green chillis chopped Few Coriander leaves chopped
  8. Make ready Ginger sticks for garnish 1/2 tsp Gram masala powder for garnish
  9. Make ready 2 cups water or as required
Instructions to make 🍲Dhabaa Fry Daal Maash (washed white lentil restaurant style 🍲:
  1. Soak lentil a in warm water for 4 to 5 hour. - Boil with 2 cups of water till half cook and set aside (do not discard the lentil water). - In a pot add oil and sliced onion, fry till light brown.
  2. Add ginger garlic paste and stir for few seconds.than add tomato stir for few seconds cover with lid medium low heat cook untill tomatos soft.
  3. Add salt, red chili flakes, turmeric powder, coriander powder,cumin fenugreek leaves, dried red whole chillies with little water, keep on frying till oil separates.
  4. Add pre-cooked lentil with lentil water mix well and add water (if u need more) just to cook daal and cover the lid. - cook on low flame till lantil completely cooked and water evaporates.
  5. Now fry for few seconds and add green chilies,coriander and fenugreek leaves(few leaves). simmer for few seconds. - - sprinkle garam masala & some ginger sticks before serving enjoy with tandoori roti & fresh salad.
